Buyers Don’t Understand This ONE Thing About Buying New Construction

 

I’m sure my Realtor friends can agree. Buyers don’t seem to understand how it works when they work with a Realtor during the purchase of a new build.

🏡 New construction builders have already budgeted money to pay for a Realtor’s commission.

🏡 Builders consider this a normal cost of doing business. It does NOT save you money if you don’t use a Realtor.

🏡 Using a Realtor for a new build is a smart move. If you work with an experienced agent they most likely have helped buyers through the process many, many times.

🏡 Your Realtor will negotiate on your behalf, walk you through all the documents, help you set up your own inspections & be another set of eyes during all the walk throughs.

🏡 A Realtor will always look at for your best interest. The salesperson at the model homes works for the BUILDER & will negotiate on their best interest.

If you are considering purchasing a new construction home, always… I repeat ALWAYS take your Realtor with you to that first visit. If you don’t, you risk the change the builder will not allow you to have your own representation.
