Finding Your Big Why

In life, we all face challenges that test our strength & determination. During those times, what keeps us moving forward? For me, that answer has always been clear: my family. They’ve been the foundation of my ‘big why’ & the reason I push myself to achieve more, even when it feels like everything is uphill.

But sometimes, life shifts our perspective.

After turning 40 & having my youngest daughter, Blakely, I began to reassess everything. Becoming a mom again later in life gave me a deeper understanding of how precious time really is. It wasn’t just about working hard to provide anymore; it became about prioritizing my health and well being so I can be here for her. I want to show her that we can achieve anything when we set our minds to it, but I also need to lead by example, focusing on self care & personal growth along the way.

My ‘why’ now includes staying healthy, being fully present, & making sure I can give her & the rest of my family the life they deserve. I also want to live my life in a way that reflects my passion for helping others by guiding a family through the home-buying process or mentoring new Realtors on their own journeys.

At the end of the day, knowing your ‘why’ provides clarity & purpose. It keeps you grounded when things get chaotic, helps you stay resilient in tough moments, & gives you the energy to keep moving forward. I’ve seen firsthand how finding that deeper motivation can make all the difference, not just in my personal life but in my work as a Realtor as well.

What’s your ‘big why’?
