Here’s how you can snag a deal on a home right now:

If I was trying to get the best deal on a home right now, I would focus my search in two places. First, I’d look for homes that recently were under contract but for some reason the buyer canceled. Those sellers are typically extremely eager to get under contract again. The second place I would look would be listings that have sat on the market unsold for more than 60-90 days. The longer the house has been on the market, the more likely the seller is to negotiate on the price.
