Motherhood & Real Estate

Being a mom and a Realtor often feels like running two full time jobs, but the beauty is that they’re jobs I love, & they blend in ways that make life richer. I’ve never been one to believe in the idea of “perfect balance.” There’s no magic formula that divides my time equally between showings & dance practices, client meetings & parent teacher conferences. Instead, I’ve learned that life is all about blending.

As a mom of four, my life is busy really busy. But being in real estate has allowed me the flexibility to be present for my kids while still pursuing a career I’m passionate about. There are days when my little ones tag along to showings, help me find lockboxes, or even entertain clients with their charm. There are moments when the lessons I teach them at home about hard work, perseverance, & compassion overlap with how I serve my clients.

Real estate isn’t just about finding people houses, it’s about helping families, just like mine, create spaces where memories are made. I understand what it’s like to need that perfect family home because I live it every day. I know how important it is to find a place where your kids can grow up feeling safe, loved, & connected.

It’s this connection to family that drives me to go above & beyond for my clients. If they’re buying their first home, upgrading for more space, or downsizing after the kids move out, I get it. I’m in the trenches with them, juggling the same kinds of decisions.

The skills I’ve honed as a mom with patience, problem solving, multi tasking are the same ones that make me a better Realtor. Motherhood has taught me to be adaptable, to roll with the unexpected (hello, tantrums!), and to always keep the bigger picture in mind. That’s why when it comes to helping clients, I focus on making the process as smooth & stress free as possible, because I know firsthand how precious time is.

At the end of the day, being a mom and a Realtor isn’t about choosing one over the other it’s about embracing the chaos, the joy, & the challenges of both.
